Missed something on the KCMO Morning Show? Catch up here.

Senator Pat Roberts told Stigall today that he is prepared to vote no on Judge Sotomayor, and within a few hours it was picked up nationally by NBC, CNN, Fox News and in the banner at the Huffington Post, Politico, New York Times website, Washington Post website, Salon.com and 150 other websites.

It's still on the front page of Politico.  Here is the Hills link and the Kansas City Star.

Sen. McCaskill, meet Clarence Thomas. He's one of those great American stories, right? Thanks to Michelle Maulkin. And you can watch the video here.

If you love talk-radio, read this.  Barnhart give a NYTimes like profile about KKFI and the non-profit entrepreneur (whatever that is).  So should radio be around to not make money?  This is the start of the fairness doctrine.  If the government makes local ownership happen, these non-listened to stations will be the mandate, and profit will not be allowed.

This is free market, government involvement and capitalism at it's core.

Arm Yourself in the Fight Against Obama-Care
What will this do to YOUR insurance?

What is your premium now? What is your premium going to be? The WSJ has WellPoint study information with a breakdown. (Surprise, it's going up.)

Bill Running Over the Elderly

The mandatory end of life counseling has people talking.  It's getting Rham-ed through.  IBD chronicles this well here.

Fanny-Med?

Wall Street Journal reports, what is happening with health care negotiations is going to be a Fannie Mae style compromise.

The Pledge

 From Powerline Blog:

Readers may wish to present this pledge to their Senators and Representatives.

My Pledge to My Constituents on National Health Insurance

1. I will not vote to expand the bankrupt Medicare program unless and until it is first placed on a sound actuarial basis.

2. I will not vote for any national health insurance legislation that includes a public plan unless I am prepared to enroll myself and my family in the public plan. If a national health insurance bill with a public plan passes the Senate with my vote in support, then I pledge to enroll myself and my family in that public plan.

Public Opinion Against Obama-Care

Stigall talked with Betsy McCaughey about just this.  Obama's broken promises.  (Betsy is the key figure in this fight and brought down Hillary-Care)

IBD's Thomas Sowell breaks down the arguments.  Is medical care going to be better or worse with this?

And the Wall Street Journal has slammed this, here is their Editorial against Obama-Care.

What is the cost of this?

US Governors voice deep concern, $200B worth of unfunded mandates and not many answers.

The Congressional Budget Office says this will not control medical spending, but increase it.  Harry Reid's response?  Sounds like the CBO should run for republican office.
