Paige Powers, Morning News Anchor
Twenty years later, Paige Powers still loves to work in the ever changing business of radio. Paige begun her broadcasting career in her hometown of Abilene, Kansas working at KABI AM/KSAJ FM. After working at radio stations in Wichita, KS, and Lincoln, NE, Paige made Kansas City her radio home and has worked here since 1994. Paige has worked as a disc jockey at a variety of FM formats including country, oldies, CHR and rock. Paige flipped to the AM side in September of 2006, and can be heard on KCMO Talk Radio 710 with news reports at the top and bottom of each hour from 5am-9am. Paige enjoys spending time with her husband, going to movies, supporting the Royals, baking cookies and listening to music of all kinds. |

Ray Read, News Anchor
A career Broadcast Journalist, Ray's journeys have taken him all across the US. North, south, east or west wherever the story was that was where you could find him. Whether it was serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, the Columbine Shootings, the presidential campaigns of Jesse Jackson, Paul Simon, and Bob Dole or social unrest brought on by Treaty Rights negotiations and endless hours of local political reporting, Ray was there. But he's no stranger to the area having worked in both Kansas and Missouri before. Living by his own professional creed of " First, Best, Always", Ray will roll up his sleeves and dive in until you have all the facts you need to decide. |

Chris Bales, News Anchor
Chris came to KCMO Talk Radio 710 in June 2009 after working as news director of KOFO Radio in Ottawa, Kansas, where he was recognized several times by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for excellence in reporting. Born in Kansas City sometime during the Carter Administration, Chris was raised in Grandview and Overland Park, and graduated from Olathe East High School. Chris is a proud graduate of the University of Kansas and is a loyal supporter of the Jayhawks. When not at work, Chris can usually be found golfing, running, or spending time with his family and friends. Chris and his wife Emily live in Independence with their two dogs Piccadilly and Victoria.
